2. General Information
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is processed when using the Pocket Ninja App, the purposes for which it is processed and the rights available to users.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.
3. User Account and Login
Certain features of the Pocket Ninja App require the creation of a user account.
During registration and login, we process in particular the user's email address. Additional technical information necessary to create, authenticate and manage the user account may also be processed.
This data is processed to provide and manage the user account and the associated functionality of the App.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as the processing is necessary to provide the App and its functionality.
4. In-App Purchases
The Pocket Ninja App offers in-app purchases.
Payments are processed through the respective app store provider, in particular the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment information such as credit card or bank account details is generally processed by the respective app store provider and is not collected directly by CLIMBALL OHG.
The App may process information indicating whether a purchase was successfully completed and which content or functionality should be unlocked for the respective user account.
The privacy policies of the respective app store providers also apply to payment processing.
5. Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to identify technical errors and improve the stability and reliability of the Pocket Ninja App.
In the event of a crash or technical error, information such as the following may be processed:
- time of the crash or error
- App version
- operating system and operating system version
- device model and technical device information
- crash and error reports
- Crashlytics installation identifiers
- Firebase installation identifiers
- technical information about the state of the App at the time of the error
This information is used to identify and analyse technical problems and improve the stability of the Pocket Ninja App.
Google states that Firebase Crashlytics retains crash stack traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning the process of removing them from its live and backup systems.
Firebase is provided by Google. Data may be processed on Google's global infrastructure and therefore potentially outside the European Economic Area.

6. Analytics
The Pocket Ninja App currently does not use additional analytics services to analyse user behaviour.
If analytics functionality such as Google Analytics for Firebase is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. Where consent is required under applicable data protection laws, such processing will only take place after the required consent has been obtained.
7. Advertising and Tracking
The Pocket Ninja App currently uses no advertising networks or advertising-based tracking.
Users are currently not tracked across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.
8. Push Notifications
The Pocket Ninja App currently does not use push notifications.
9. Camera, Photos and Location
The Pocket Ninja App currently does not access the user's camera, photos stored on the device or location data.
10. Other Third-Party Services
According to the current implementation, no additional third-party SDKs are used to process personal data for advertising or tracking purposes beyond the services necessary for the functionality described above.
If additional third-party services or SDKs are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
11. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose or as required by applicable statutory retention obligations.
User account information is generally retained until the user account is deleted unless statutory retention requirements or other legal grounds require longer storage.
Data processed by third-party service providers may additionally be subject to their respective retention periods.

Users may request deletion of their user account and associated personal data.
